The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max feature a smaller Dynamic Island, with support for up to three simultaneous Live Activities.

Until now, the Dynamic Island has only supported a maximum of two simultaneous Live Activities. Here is how three Live Activities display at the same time:

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said ahead of the event that the redesigned Dynamic Island would be "smaller and improved" and let users toggle between three live tasks.

Support for three live activities is good. Small dynamic island is also nice. Sadly the 3 live activities is not available for 17 Pro/Pro Max.

I freaking LOVE Dynamic Island. Every time a background activity moves to it, I'm delighted. Such a great UI feature.

I love the Dynamic Island concept as well. It unifying so much.

I wonder how it's going to work on the Duo and other devices without a center notch to anchor it visually? I hope they don't retire the feature!
