I just got phone hacked and unloacked 2.0 and canoot get EDGE to work... i had a 1.1.2 hacked unlocked iphone and hacked the EDGE on there, but seems like its a diffrent method for 2.0.... someone please help me

Have you turned the device on and off?
Have you made sure that EDGE is enabled in BossPrefs?
Can you access the internet via wi-fi?
Are you getting cell phone reception?

what is bossprefs? i cant get wifi from my house, yes i get full reception, the person i bought fone from just re pwnd the whole phone i guess? all factory settings... im new to this new pwnd thing, my old iphone i jailbroke and unlocked using turbo sim...
BossPrefs is available from Cydia (you should have this icon somewhere, though you need to access the internet anyway) and allows you to control many things about the iPhone - connectivity to EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G (if applicable), and more.
There are a lot of posts on these forums with people having trouble accessing EDGE. I'm not a solution has been found - feel free to search - you may need/want to re-pwn your iPhone to get it to work.
I would try taking a walk around your neighborhood, searching for open Wi-fi networks to see if you can access the internet that way. If you can, download and install BossPrefs from Cydia and see if toggling some of the options will get you a solution.
If that doesn't work and there isn't a solution on these forums (or as widespread as the problem seems, the internet), re-pwn your phone. The guides on iClarified are amazingly easy to follow.

make sure that you re-enter your internet cellular network address ---->
settings>General>Network>Cellular Data>APN
Enter : internet2.Voicestream.com
That is for t-mobile edge internet. Make sure you have the total internet plan. otherwise you could try Wap.voicestream.com.. I prefer the total internet plan though. Good Luck,

hey thanks alot i finaly got it to work... now the youtube isnt working 🙁 it was working perfect on the WIFI but now wont work at all on the edge network... any idea??
