iTunes has just reported that there's an update available. Go crazy...

He speaks the truth, I'm downloading it now! HOORAY!!!!
It's there for me too.
I see it too...I'm going to wait and see what you all say about it. I never get the updates tell I see how its going for other people
OMFGGGG ARE U SERIOUS?!??!!!!!11?? FINALLLYYYY!!!!!
surprisingly early considering it's still the 20th in Cupertino. But sure enough I plug my phone in and there it is.
Here's what it includes:
The home button thing seems cool, especially if you have a lot of different app screens. I'm glad to see the improved fetch and safari reliability. Hardly anything earth-shattering....as expected.
now it's a race to see who can get it first...
98Mb of 246Mb
damn you slow mobile broadband!
Downloading now at 246.4MB. How does this compare to other releases?
Any word on what it's doing for our 3G?
OK, thanks for posting that...
I dont understand the home screen thing
Finally.... the ability to download podcasts.
Wee, downloaded and everything but methinks I'm going to just bide my time and wait for the Pwnage update... Although I kind of want to just install and try Quickpwn.
Podcast can be downloaded from cellular network. Does this mean podcasts below 10MBs in size?
If your on the 4th page and you hit the home button, it will take you to screen one.
yes under 10MB for cell network
Unlimited for Wifi
Improved stability in Safari, eh?
You've said that before Apple...
I really like that little enhancement.
Where are you getting that info from? It was talked about before, but it doesn't say that in the description.....
Thank god for less Safari crashes!
Yeah I definately hope not. A lot of podcasts are more than 10MB. They can at least do it for under 20MB.
No surprise features?
o0o i see.... dont know if i like that
but I'm at 'Updating iPhone Software....' so we'll see soon, I guess.
Of course not, this is Apple we are talking about.
