Other iPhone 2018 6.1" and 6.5", which will get landscape mode?

After using iPhone Plus models for several years, the one thing I miss the most with having the iPhone X is the landscape mode. I know it didn't get too much usage from most users, but I loved the landscape mode in Reminders.app, Notes.app, Mail.app, etc. Basically apps that could show the left sidebar, which made it much more productive for me.

Many of you guys know more than me about screen dimensions, hints from beta code etc. Do we think that the 6.1 or 6.5 will get landscape? Or are they still too long and thin like the iPhone X? Maybe they will ditch landscape mode completely and have that as iPad only?

Anecdotally, I don’t believe Apple may offer landscape mode with a 6.1. If there is a model that were to have landscape mode, I think it would be the 6.5 iPhone X, which might be an exclusivity feature similar to the iPhone 5.5 Plus models. But good question and I’m curious as well.

I think the 6.5" will. It'll be the biggest screen ever on an iPhone, so to me it'd be a step backwards if they removed that feature.

I am fairly certain that it will only be in the 6.5. There is no way they would put a feature on the 6.1 "discount" model that is not on the 5.8 model.

The 6.1” and 6.5” both have a display area that exceeds the iPhone 8 Plus. It would make sense for them to receive landscape mode.

The 5.8” iPhone has a smaller display area than iPhone 8 Plus. Not to mention the display is signficantly narrower.

There are other features like split screen multitasking that could be exclusive to the 6.5” model.
