Other iPhone 2021 series prototypes

Hi guys,

My friend is working for an accessory factory for Apple devices. He just showed me these prototypes of new generation iPhone.

It is visible that the cameras are bigger, the bump is larger and thicker reaching even to the edge of the phone. You can see the case prototype to imagine how big the bump is. If you upgrade your iPhone, your old case is unusable.

The speaker is pushed up to the screen edge too.

Basically, there is no change in size of the current lineup.

Last year my friend got the prototypes of the 12 series too and they looked exactly the official design. He had even gifted me the leather link loop before Apple introduced it I posted it on the Apple Watch category last year.

He has no idea about the new colors of the new iPhone generation.

Some people will have noticed Amazon sellers have been clearing out iPhone 12 glass protectors and cases for $1 recently. It's unfortunate that none of the existing stuff will fit this year's iPhones.

Wow. I guess that’s another reason to keep my 12 Pro Max. I have a couple cases that I don’t want to feel like I wasted money on. That camera cut out is huge! That’s going to be the only thing you notice on the back of the phone.

Yeah it don’t look any smaller to me. Even if Apple made the notch smaller this year, I’m still not upgrading. The notch has never bothered me from day 1, since owning the X.

It's thinner but not so noticeable.

I personally don't always trust mockups. Sometimes they are right, sometimes not. Same with leakers though, for that matter. Mockups are the physical form of a rumor.

Notch is a notch until it’s gone altogether, doesn’t bother me but I wouldn’t be swapping for that.

Honestly I don't have any plan for upgrade too. Even with 120Hz and better chip, RAM, camera blah blah blah

This late in the game, possibly. Accessory makers would get something more exacting. But the ones like EverythingApplePro or Unbox Therapy and some other tech YouTubers show have a mixed track record at best. Max Weinbach is EAP's partner in the leaks thing and he isn't real accurate. I find EAP to be wrong about a lot, though.

That said I personally feel like there isn't a snowball's chance in hell of a 13 Mini. We'll see but my $ is on "no".

I probably will upgrade from my 12 Pro Max. I just hope the cases I bought from Apple will be compatible.
