Hi guys, i am sitting with a friend of the family who owns a iPhone 2.G

it was bought from USA unlocked and jailbroken with installer, currently it is running firmware version 04.02.13_G

I would like to know a few things just to clarify that i am not going to brick his phone

Can i (i am running WINDOWS) jailbreak it to 3.0?
if not, what do i have to do upgrade it to 2.2.1

Can i just plug it into iTunes, update it to the current newest and shiniest firmware and just use QuickPwn to unlock and jailbreak, or do i have to take into consideration that it is a 1.1.2 and therefore i have to do something special?

So basically, CAN i get 3.0 running, if not, Can i just plug the 1.1.2 phone into itunes, update to 2.2 and then just use quickpwn?

Using Windows? No. You can't. You need a Mac since only Pwnage Tool is available to jailbreak 3.0.0.
