iPhone 2G need help

My phone was pwned, and now it stuck in recovery mode (sleep button works but wont shut off in recovery mode), so I can't go in DFU mode.

I tried using latest iTunes under OSX 10.8 to factory restore, but it gives me an error in iTunes 1603.

What else can I do?
