Hi

Since I have upgraded the OS on my iPhone 2G the system is so slow, I mean it takes ages to open the calendar, the app, the camera, etc.....so frustrating.
It is definitely slower than before.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Mine is much faster in every way. For example the thing that drove me most crazy; my camera app used to take at least 10 seconds to be ready to acquire a photo in 2.2.1. Now in 3.0 the same takes less than 2 seconds. Mine is surprisingly snappy overall, a definite improvement.

I would have to agree with the others, my 2G on OS 3.0 has been a little faster... especially, I have noticed, the cameras start up time and time to actually take the picture. The other stuff *may* be a little faster, but certainly not slower.

It's pretty much the same if not slightly faster. Do a restore and use back up to bring out settings and stuff.
