I currently have the beta 3 firmware build of OS 3.0. I had my UDID added to a developers account. My issue is how do I download and install the updated beta version 4 since it saids that you need to download 8.2 itunes to install, and since I am not a developer I do not have access to the itunes download, nor can I find a torrent for it. I need to upgrade since the current beta I have will soon expire. Please help me and let me know what I can do and how to do it. Thanks for all your help in advance.

Since a developer added your UDID to his account, then you must be in close personal contact with him/her and are an active member of his development team. Contact the lead developer and he'll download the iTunes file and pass it onto you.

Unless, of course, you are one of those damn fools who HAD to have the iPhone beta and got some random developer to sign you up on his account. That makes me laugh, and I enjoy knowing that you won't be able to use your phone after your current beta expires. Enjoy waiting till the final release candidate as there is no legitimate way to "downgrade" your phone, so you'll have to illegally jailbreak the firmware.

If your name was added by any developer with your UDID, then your entry will remain there for good. When you download and install Itunes 8.2, it has your UDID info existing from the previous itunes version and legitimses the download and install.

So all you gotta do is download itunes+3.0 beta 4 and do the usual restore upgrade. It will work. It worked for me.

you can google above software - lot of torrent sites have the info

If you can't find a torrent, than maybe you should reconsider using beta software...

PS. It's extremely easy to find.

hey if you would like the software pm me and ill chat with you and tell you where to get it.

Wait....you can't send out a PM?

Dude, go to apple, get them to swap out your phone, and stick with 2.2.1 til 3.0 is official.
