iPhone 3.0 iPod app Crashing

Hello Macrumors,

I've been having this issue since I woke up this morning. Yesterday I had no issues, and after charging for about 8 hours while I slept, I woke up to find my iPod app not working. When I tap iPod, the white screen comes up, and then it just exits back to the home screen.

It is strange in that I didn't do anything to break it. It just sort of, stopped working.
My YouTube works flawlessly, and everything else has been relatively bug free (with the exception of some lag here and there.)

I'm afraid to restore because I've heard that restoring from pre-3.0 backups will break the YouTube.
 
I've decided to just restore and see what happens. Worse comes to worst I can revert to 2.2.1

Not that many people care but I'll keep updating to let everybody know if this is a viable solution
 
I followed the instructions given to my by my developer friend.
She told me to shift-click on restore, and load the 3.0 software.
After doing that the iPod worked without issue.

I am now restoring from the backup of my phone.
 
What I do is go to settings, general, about, and let it load all the songs to tell me how many I have. Then iPod app works fine, I think it's because it refreshes your itunes.db.

Now I'm having a new more interesting problem.

iTunes shows that I have about 5 igs used on music, but only one song is showing up on the ipod.app ><

Its working now...

:D i got the solution, just sync again with ur iTunes library it ll start working again... lolzzzz
 
I have the original problem. I am jailbroken and my iPod app doesn't work. So I restore and it works again, but then I jailbreak again and it doesn't work anymore.
