If i purchase iphone 3g today should i able to unlock it 100 % without using xsim
. i heard a seller said it must work with xsim for tmobile sim card . thank you

i heard people said downgrade don't work because need to work with hardware not software . So i dont wan't to mess with hardware to opend it the iphone . did anyone try unlock downgrade work yet

The baseband can't be newer than 2.28.0 (version 2.2), if it is, it needs to be downgraded. The baseband can only be downgraded if the bootloader on the phone is older than the 5.9 version. Then you can download an run Yellowsn0w to unlock the device. :)

naw. it has to be bootloader 5.08
mine is 5.09 ;[
