Ok so I have been researching and can't seem to come to a solution on this error. I may be a girl, but I'm not technologically illiterate in any sense. That said, as I mentioned in the title, I am running an iPhone 3g OS 3.1.3 Baseband 5.12. I tried following a guide to jailbreaking using the latest snowbreeze but every time I try restoring my iPhone through iTunes, it won't recognize my .ispw and gives me the error code 1601 telling me it could not restore the iPhone. What should I do?? 😕

Thanks in advance!

you can only jailbreak using snowbreeze if your phone has already been jailbroken on 3.1.2
Id advise everyone to stay away from snowbreeze and use pwnage if they have a JB 3GS on 3.1.2 and want to upgrade it to a JB 3.1.3

I've actually already jailbroken it at this point using redsn0w. Not going to lie, I've kind of gone crazy with all of the customization. But I did have another question. I downloaded one of the themes from Themes (Complete) section on Cydia, and also a custom Keyboard. However, I can't seem to get the keyboard download to override the current keyboard (which is just the default anyways). Is there any way to get the keyboard I want to work with the theme I have set up?

Keyboard themes haven't worked since firmware 3.0 and likely won't in the future.

Yes, keyboard themes dont work any more since 3.0 came out.
Dont bother trying cause it can cause headaches....
