Hey I was wondering if the iPhone 3G or 3GS could use the rear camera as a video calling camera over 3G using fring ?

I'm asking because I have a iPhone 4 and my friend has a samsung vibrant from tmobile that does not have a front facing camera and she's able to call me with fring using the rear camera, pretty awkward as you see she had to be in the mirror so I can see her but hey it works.

Here's a screen shot from my iPhone 4 and she's using her samsung vibrant, sorry I look stupid in the corner.

The real question is not what you are showing us, but what she is about to show you.

I'm showing that she can use the rear camera for video call that's my point.

The rest I leave it in your perv mind.

    I will.

I wouldn't see why anyone phone that can get the app, along with a camera that can record couldn't.

That's what I was thinking but then again I wasn't sure because apple has a lot of restrictions.
