iphone 3g and att media net package

i have an iphone from ebay which am using with an att gophone sim " jail broken n not unlocked if that helps "

will it work or not ?

if yes , itll be 3g when using the net ?

MediaNet packages will work with the iPhone....


... right up until AT&T does one of their frequent TAC sweeps and figures out that you're using an iPhone. If you're on PAYG they won't do anything, since it's insanely expensive for you (and thus profitable for them) to pay $10 for 5MB. If you're on a contract, they'll move you over to an iPhone plan and update your bill to the corresponding amount.
