Can anyone confirm that the iPhone 3G will be on sale at Apple retail stores in the UK?

If it is available, will it have the PAYG option?

I've just asked at the Regent's Street Store.

Apparently you will be able to walk into an Apple store UK on Friday, and as long as
1) You do not have an iPhone
2) you do not have a contract with 02
3) You have suitable ID

You can walk out with an iPhone on contract

No PayG until December. Read other threads!

This means no sales at apple stores, unless they've managed to get the issue of signing people up to contracts sorted out.
