iPhone 3G Battery indicator issue on iOS4

Hi there

I've been searching and can't seem to find anything on this but since updating to iOS4 my battery indicator whilst charging will not change - I can be charging for a while and the big green battery image will be at the same level - it's only when i turn the phone off/on again that it shows where it should be.

I am charging with my iPad charger but that shouldn't make a difference should it?

Anyone else having this problem?

Have you tried letting the battery run all the way down and then doing a full charge?

No I haven't but I will try. It still charges but the image won't move.

Try that, if that does not fix it I would suggest doing a restore. That will almost certainly fix it.

I have the same issue I tried everything hard reset, restore etc but

3g IOS4 charging issue also

ditto for me, exact same symptoms. Stuck on the red bar. Will try reseting tomorrow.... ugh. I'd like to go back to IOS3, any suggestions how to do that?
