I'm getting white, and I did see Brokeback Mountain as it happens but only because my girlfriend wanted to see it :rolleyes:

Somehow I do not think the guys from BrokeBack would be getting white.

If you still think white is a feminine color you are definately over 40. Styles CHANGE! I was actually shocked a few years back to see guys in their 20's wearing white sunglass frames. My first thought was that they were wearing womens sunglasses.

But no, they are mens glasses and I see them mostly on the young straight surfer types.

White is no longer for girls only. I will actually make my final color choice based 90% on what it looks like to me in person. The final 10% is based on whether I actually get to choose based on my place in line. I WILL NOT get an 8MGB model. THAT would be a waste of time for me.
 
White for me, black shows scratches WAY too much. Just look at the 5G black and white ipod or 1G nanos for that matter :D
 
the white looks more like the old one..the black looks so much newer, but AT THE SAME TIME WHITE IS NICE AND WOULDN'T get scratched as much..
I will ask for Black if sold out, im getting white :)

the only thing that is shying me away from the white one would be.... it getting dirty... and turning into a grunge piece of ... like the old school ipods...
 
Just for the record, you can get a 16 GB in Black OR White!!!

The 8GB is ONLY in Black.

I think I'm going with Black...but I would like to see the white in person. It might be sweet. From pictures, though, it looks feminine.
 
I really want a White one.
White is a color I associated with Apple for the longest time, and I think that this iPhone and the current MacBook are the only things keeping this association alive. Long Live White [apple products, that is- I'm African American =]

Black HD DVD Player
Black LCD TV

thats why I want a black iphone!
