Does it worry anyone else that iPhone 3G dock and power adapter are listed as iPhone "Accessories?" Come on, Apple. Please don't nickel and dime us like that.

A dock is not included, the power adaptor obviously is. This accessory is apparently a smaller power adaptor, designed for travel.

Not sure why they decided not to include the dock, I found it really useful and the iPhone looked nice sitting on the dock next to the monitor.

But hey, at least you get the SIM ejector tool. W00t.

Designed for travel, huh. Who else is buying into this BS. It's typical cell company nonsense.

    I never used the dock.

And as far as the computer, never used the Apple Remote either (kept as extras for my AppleTV).

    Higher margins for Apple...

Ahh, yes, because the old power adapter was so big, it was just a pain to lug around.

I'm really not looking forward to paying an extra $20-$30 for a dock... ugh.

I haven't looked, but does it come with a dock adapter? I have a universal dock that I just paid $40 for the touch, please tell me it will at least have a dock adapter...

Well at least it has that, Get a universal dock then, they are worth it for future updates, and if you want a nano or something...

Do you guys think that the current iPhone dock will be able to house the iPhone 3G? If so, then its all good

Don't think so - not only is the new iPhone thicker than the old one, it's a different shape altogether.

I can't find it on the tech specs page.

I like the bottom one, but still has the cable hanging out the side.
