iPhone 3G doesn't find Wifi signals any more

suddenly, my iPhone 3G doesn't detect any WiFi signals. I have reset network settings but didnt workl. Do I need to go to the Apple Store?

Since it’s not under warranty, you’d just end up buying a new one, since they couldn’t fix it without charging you more than a phone would cost.

Your wifi radio has probably failed. I had this issue on three 3G iPhones.

Do you mean to say that the wifi radio is not repairable..

It’s on the PCB, so you’d need a new one, which costs a good amount. However, it could be the antenna itself, which is easier and cheaper to fix. Who knows though?

The reason is electronics fail at times and stop working.

Might be kinda h/w or s/w failure that can be fixed. Chances are there you won't need any replacement.
