Iphone 3G in Poland

    can anyone tell me if i can buy in Poland the iphone 3g without contract and sim free? what’s the news on that? my father's gonna visit Poland soon, so that’s my best chance to have my hands on this little beauty

    you can go buy it at era or orange or better yet buy it at era for the full price and they will unlock it for you there

    ARE U SURE u can buy at era WITHOUT a contract???

    Yes, you can.

    The price is 1899 PLN ($780) for the 8 GB, and 2199 PLN ($900) for the 16 GB model.

    if something visit era.pl it tells you everything you can read polish right?...

    thats why im asking i'v visit era website and as far as i see the phone is sold only with a contract...
    and no cant read polish i translated it through google

    Which is a point to buy it anywhere but in Poland - Italy, for example.

    okay i know its a very old post

    BUT! my dad is now at poland and indid he said that the 8gb iphone cost
    1900 zl. BUT! i've checked and its only 667$! so the price isnt much diffrent from italy. espacially if you can ask for tax return. can u do it in poland?

    Where to look at Bydgoszcz, unlocked phones cheaper than ERA? Or Gdansk.

    1. What is the current price of 16 gb iPhone 3gs in Poland at Era or Orange?
    2. What is the price to officially unlock it at carrier?

    1. Era — 2,899.00 PLN ~ £600 ~ $980.
    I'm not sure Orange sells them without contract at all.

    2. Era will either sell you an already unlocked model or will have it unlocked for free (it was the latter for me). Orange charges a fee for unlocking.

    Please help,
    1. I buy my iphone 3G from ebay, I find out it is from orange poland, can I official unlock it.
    2. Should I go to poland to unlock it, or I can do it in Orange UK?
    3. How I check it is finished contract or not via internet?
