Iphone 3G is HOT. . . Near perfect . . . BUT why can't there ever be simple MMS this rages me so much urgh

Yes I understand your little frustration here.
Be patient. Apple will catch up. Be thankful there is at least SMS. 🙂
Or if you are really wanting MMS on your phone, send photos through email to other's phones.
