Hi,I have a 13 month old 3G and just turned it on this morning like normal and tried to check something on the internet but it wouldn't connect to my wireless which I am using to type this on, I went into the settings and the wi-fi option is greyed out and displays : "Wi-FI No Wi-FI".

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Reboot your phone, if that doesn't help, then try Restoring the phone. If you still fail to have Wi-Fi enabled call Apple up, it's a hardware issue.

Since you say its been over 13 months since your first bought, I hope you bought Apple Care to have the repairs covered, otherwise, you are looking at $199 in repairs

Thats £139 worth of repair (iPhone exchange at the genius bar) with no applecare.

Question: If you go to Settings>General>About, does it give you a Wi-Fi Address?

If it does, then try these. Do them one at a time until it's fixed (not all at once!):

*Hard reset (sleep/wake + Home)
*Reset Network Settings (Settings>General>Reset)
*Reset All Settings (Settings>General>Reset again)
*Restore from iTunes

Otherwise you'll probably have to take it to an Apple shop.
