Iphone 3g or 3gs

Hi all

I need to replace the digitizer on a friend's daughter's iPhone, and she's the 3rd owner and doesn't if it's a 3gs or 3g
How do I tell the difference between the 3g and 3gs, i know its an 8gig but that's bout it
