Im running with Apples home screen background image and I have enabled multitasking on my 3G it works well enough to me but is there any new news on an overclock or vm for 4.0 the 3.0 one was great I could background 15 apps. Thanks

There you go with the same overclocking questions again.
The iphone 3G runs painfully slow as it is with 4.0 and multitasking enabled.

It sounds strange but since I have enabled backgrounding and the wallpaper my phone has been snappier mainly I want a swap file for better backgrounding though an overclock would be nice.

where can i download the old over clock for 3.1.2? i had it on 3.0 but never bothered on 3.1.2

It would still be good to have a VM like VM2 for 3.0. The repo that hosted it went offline.

Just so you know, there is still a VM hack for the iPhone, you just have to do it via plists.

This will actually work with measurable effect, which is more than I can say for the O/C...

FYI, you can't overclock an iDevice without doing some hacking to the kernel, which is currently impossible by us average folks. Maybe some of the dev team members know what to do. iDroid has it's own kernel, which CAN overclock an iDevice.

YouTube "iMemory Enhancer". I made that package, but it's just "iPhoneVM 2". I believe it works on the 3G running iOS 4.
