I was almost going to stop reading at the solar touch screen. I for one don't sunbath with my iPhone or even use it ever in the sun (except for brief moments). The other stuff we can only dream about.

So...the screen has taken a downgrade, from millions to 65k plus, no 802.11n?

Photoshop is right. The screen in that mockup is a different aspect ratio to the real iPhone. Our not so clever photoshopper simply decided a stretch will do. Hello blurry press photo. Oh and 'speackers'.

AMEN. Also, why don't people realize that some things are simply not yet possible. We would have a 64GB 3G if it were easy but there's simply no room in the case to fit everything on that logic board, and please stop talking dreaming about batteries when you have no idea how they work. You can't just make a 15 hour battery fit in that space, not with today's tech.
 
I for one think that it is great to wish and dream. Maybe we should have a separate thread for this kind of thing. I like the way it looks but it is just a wish list and a dream.

Maybe the OP should put edit his post to say that it is just a rendering of something that he would like to see. It should be understood that that is what this is though. I don't think everyone needs to jump on him unless he is actually trying to pass this as something that is real.
 
Smart phones wont be that thin for the foreseeable future. The radios and storage and electronics take up a lot of room. If Apple could make it that thin (for a price that people would pay), they would.

Isnt' there a minimum width - where it doens't make sense to be any thinner without harsher tradeoffs? That extra depth allows you to put more into your phone.

All in all I love the design though......beautiful.
 
Why do people keep using this Pro moniker. Pro what? Pro phone user? Come on now. :rolleyes:

And really? WMV and WMA support? At least try to post credible wish lists.

Couldn't agree more. Also, I highly doubt they would change the home button to a more rectangular shape... I'm sick of seeing these on all of the unibody casing "Pro" models...:rolleyes:
