iPhone 3G Pro image (Rumour)

I've said this like 20x

Newbies should not be allowed to make "New iPhone" threads

dreams + photoshop =/= rumors

ummm... macRUMOURS.com

granted the thread should be titled "my dream iphone" but jeeze, do you folk just sit at work waiting to flame threads

Video call camera (Hidden - behind the touch screen)

LMAO! Seriously? Do youuu really think ATT will allow this? Its not even ready for the US. There's not many phones in the US with this feature. It would be pointless.

That's probably what phones will look like in 5-10 years, but mainly because having an OLED screen and a solar panel on a phone is not easy. If you see Sony's OLEDs, they sit on a big stand that holds the special material that it needs to run, and a 11" screen costs $2,000. Solar Panels would be nice, but the future of electricity will be wireless charging where receptors and wall outlets receive/send currents of the same frequency.

It would help if he could spell...

lol.tif

The Solar concept is pretty interesting. Small crystal that provide a focused beam to a collector and then converted to power.
Hmm after seeing the a 3ft ribbon of this concept which created 12vdc the applications will be numerous.

There a lot of things mentioned that relly don't seem so far fetched especially when the release is rumored for next year.

With the top drawback for people buying an iPhone being the "cost" for either the device or service, WHY DO YOU PEOPLE KEEP THINKING APPLE WILL MAKE A MORE EXPENSIVE IPHONE?

Apple is not going to make a higher-end iPhone. About 10,000 people would buy it, meaning the price would need to be about $1,500 to pay for all the R&D and production costs of such a low-margin device. The iPhone covers most of what people want that is realistic. Why a solar charger would be worth the extreme expense baffles me. Such a feature is just now making it on cars, which, um, bathe in sunlight. The only such charger I could see being useful on an iPhone is a pocket lint charger.

if apple didmake a more expensive phone apple loyalists would by it to set themselves apart from the people that own the lesser phone.
