Iphone 3G processing is very slow

I got an Apple Iphone 3G and the processing speed is very less. Even though there are not many applications loaded in my iphone its still very slow. How do i increase the processing speed of my Iphone? Help me out please

Make sure open app's are closed.

You cannot increase RAM in the iphones themselves to the best of my knowledge.

Im so glad apple increased the RAM in the iphone 4 so its so much faster.

Is it running slower than normal? If thats the case a restore might help, otherwise it's probably just that the 3G never was really fast, and there's no real way to make it go faster.

Buy a 3GS or iPhone 4.
The iPhone 3G is slow, not much you can do besides a restore.

3G is much faster on 3.1.3 then 4.2.1 which is the last firmware for 3g
