Iphone 3g questions!

Have given my gf my old 3G.

1. It's currently running 3.1.3, is it worth upgrading to the latest? I've deliberately not upgraded it yet, just in case it's too slow or whatever.

2. Does 3.1.3 work with WPA2?

i did the same thing, but updated it.
it is so damn slow now, leave it at 3.1.3

I agree. The 3G is too short on RAM (has half of what the 3GS has) to run iOS4.
