Hey Guys,

I tried searching but didn't find anything about this out there.

Ever since I updated my new 3GS last night with the 3.0.1 patch :(, It is taking a really long time to respond to waking up from sleep mode after hitting the home button, or the sleep button, It takes around 15 seconds to do anything...

Is anyone else having this issue?

Also, is there any kind of utility I can use to speed it up? like cleanup the cache or something?

Thanks guys! :D

Haven't updated to 3.01 yet, but have you tried:

1. Power-cycling
2. Clearing browsing History, Cookies, Cache manually (Settings > Safari > scroll down)
3. Get the iStat app (it's $1.99). Includes a "free memory" utility.

Not sure if any of that will help, but worth a shot.

I have the exact same problem - iPhone takes forever to respond to Home key....
