iPhone 3g show percent

How do I make my iPhone 3g show the percent near the battery at the top right? I know the 3GS can do it, but can the 3g?

First you could try searching for an answer to your question.

If that doesn't work, you'll find that the 3G doesn't have that option. You need to jailbreak, if you really want to have that feature. It's not worth it, IMO.

If you jailbreak it then do a full restore to un-jailbreak the % will still be there for some reason. Happened to me when I had to go a restore.

Jailbreaking is totally worth it, it's so easy.. even if it is just for the little xx% next to the battery.

I meant it's not worth it if all you're doing it for is to get the %. The % is not worth it for all the fuss it's caused.
