Ive had a Iphone 3G Unlocked & Jailbroken using it on Tmobile for about 6 months now Ive got another 3G. But I talked to the guy who jailbroke my phone and he said 3G's couldn't be jailbroken anymore.

Im not TOOO tech savvy so im turning to you. Is this true, or does my guy just not up to date on the older equipment?

I think he's referring to a 3G running the current version of iOS4 which cannot be jailbroken while running that OS. The 3g can however be downgraded backwards to an earlier, jailbreakable OS if I am not mistaken whereas the newer models cannot.
