I've had a hand-me-down jailbroken, unlocked iphone 3g (tmobile) since April. Aside from a few minor problems, it had been working fine. On Thursday, without me doing anything to the phone, it suddenly said "no service" in an area where I'd never had service problems before. I re-jailbroke and re-unlocked it several times, I got a new SIM card (mine was 10+ years old), and still "no service". Is this probably a hardware problem since it happened so suddenly? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!! (Also, when I put my SIM in an older phone, I can check texts/vm etc, then when I put the sim back into my iphone, for about 20 seconds the phone will say "Tmobile" at the top and I will have full bars, which then gradually dwindle down to 0, then followed by "searching" and "no service" again)
