iPhone 3g touchscreen is not working, BUT...

Hi, i have iphone 3g 16gb white. 2.2 firmware, jailbroken.
The touch no longer responds to fingertips. Tryed another display assembly - it didnt worked too. Tryed to reflash phone - touch still doesnt works.
Any ideas?

You tried restoring the software?

Try that then take it to Apple.

Put into DFU mode. And then perform a fresh restore, and rejailbreak.
