damn nice but I prefer the back to be black. too bad i'm stuck with sprint and not like i can afford the service :(

What upsets me a little bit is that the charger for any other countries is still the old design-- the normal iPod charger. I love the new compact design for the ones sold in the US.

I wasn't late for work either. I sat/stood in line for about 3.5 hours, then they opened the doors and boom bada-bing. In and out like a one night stand. I grabbed a cab to work and am the star of the office (just like last year when I was first at work to get the new one on day one). What a feeling!

WOW! i was gonna go with a black iphone 3G but now, after seeing some of the posts with the white iphone, i think i'm gonna change my mind.. white is the new black :D
 
i'm so confused !! :confused: both the black and white look good in the pics.. guess i ll play around with the demo units before taking the final decision:D
 
It's black, it's white, it's tough for you to get by ...

May go to the NY cube tonight. Went to 14th Street this morning. It was mad. Had to get to work by 9 - 9:30. If I had waited, there was no chance I was gonna make that. Good thing anyway since we don't have WiFi here at work (stone age, I tell ya!) and I probably would've been screwed trying to activate that thing.

ANYWAY, yeah, I was pretty set on the black, but after seeing some of these photos, I'm VERY MUCH undecided now. I'm still giving a slight edge to the black because if that white EVER gets scuffed, it'll be rubbish methinks. But damn ... it looks good. On the dock, in the hand, on the cloth, whatever. Love it.

I'll probably still get the black. Gonna have to clean the back a lot, though ... just to keep it lookin' HOT.

I went with the white after seeing in person. I figure I'll get a black case from agent18 and then I can have both!

I agree. I don't care for the white back and black front. Although I am starting to second guess my decision to go with black. The white is looking really good in these pics! Much better than in the other pics I've seen. The front could probably be taken care of with a screen protector with white at the top and bottom. Wonder if they'll let me exchange mine. I'll have to see it in persn first though.
 
i posted the white pics.

i see the black and think it looks rank, i don't know why, i wanted the black, i even reserved a black one at my store, but went white in the end, i love the black front because it doesn't detract from the screen, and you cant see the white back anyway, but when you turn it over its just so crisp and fresh.

im White and glad i did, otherwise i would be regretting the black from the moment of leaving the store
 
I stopped by my local Apple store today to check out accessories and while there I played with the white iPhone. It looks good but I'm glad I went with black. I was starting to wish I had gone for white but after seeing it in person I like the black more.

Yea im thinking the same thing, i keep coming here expecting glorious pictures of iPhones but all i get is comments!

MORE PICTURES, LESS COMMENTS people!
 
to be honest with you..I thought white would stand out like crazy because not too many people would be getting it...but it seems the other way around, everyone at the 5th ave store was getting white...I was on the bus, and someone was like "is that the new iphone? I've only seen them in white, black looks sweet"...lol, so I guess black will be the one standing out! I'm cool with the black, but the smudges are a bother, I can't lie about that:D
