iPhone 3G WILL NOT upgrade to 4.1??!

Alright, I have a 3g that will not update to 4.1. I've tried both update and restore, but it makes very little progress (on screen maybe 10%) then stops. I let it set for an hour before restoring back to 4.0.2, which went fine, and very quickly.

Has anyone else run into this or have an idea of a fix?

maybe the 4.1 download is not fully downloadeD?

You could also try putting it in DFU mode and restoring. Then restore from backup. It'll take longer but might work.
