Please can anybody help.

I did have an iPhone 3GS with 3.1.3 jailbroken software on until the iPhone 4.0 beta came out and I was very stupid and jumped straight in and installed the beta. I now know this was a HUGE mistake!

I did A LOT of googling and eventually got my iPhone back to a 3.1.2 JB software, but I am now finding that some of my apps require 3.1.3 software to work.

I do have hashes for both 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 stored on cydia. My question is how do I update to my old custom firmware 3.1.3. I tried simply updating to the CFW using iTunes but I got an error half way through so went back to the 3.1.2 CFW.

Can anybody tell me how I can go about updating to 3.1.3 CFW?

I will be very grateful for any help

how do you get back to 3.1.2?

Will try that after work today.

How is putting it in restore mode going to make a difference to simply clicking the update button in itunes?

so from that i gather you are on 3.1.2 but you want some 3.1.3 apps to work again? There is an app in cydia that tricks your phone and itunes to think your phone is 3.1.3 when it is actually 3.1.2, that should allow those apps to run since 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 are esecially the same.

Thanks very much Applejuiced it worked an absolute treat, put it into recovery mode and restored to 3.1.3 CFW and it worked fine.

Thankyou very much for your help
