Iphone 3GS 4.0 downgraded to 3.1.3 now back to 4.0, error 1611

hi,

Last week I installed iphone 4.0 beta 3 on my iphone 3GS, some programs didn't work so I downgraded to 3.1.3 (using irecovery to break the recovery loop)

now, I'll like to install 4.0 beta 3 again, but itunes gives error 1611.
some forums say error 1611 is a hardware issue but my phone restores back to 3.1.3 without problems

someone else with this problem? Caused by irecovery?

are you doing an upgrade or restore?

you gotta do option restore and once 4.0 is loaded, restore your files from backup.

Error 1611 is USB related...

try different USB port, if not, try rebooting computer. If that fails try another computer.
