iPhone 3gs black screen DFU/Recovery Mode not working

Hey, my iPhone 3gs suddenly stopped working. One moment everything was ok then a black screen came along. I have been trying to put it into DFU/Recovery Mode but it just would not work. Also, neither iTunes nor my PC reads it when connected. I have been charging for hours both with the adapter and through my PC but no luck. Please help. Thanks.😉

Did you try hard reboot? hold power & home buttons for about 10-13 seconds, let go both and turn the phone on normally.
