Ok, to be specific.... I want to listen to radio on this site: radio.fr

I have an iPhone 3GS running iOS 6.1.6. When I try to open a radio station on that site under Safari, I don't hear squat.
I figured maybe it's a Safari issue. I installed Dolphin. Same result. I put it into "Desktop Mode". Same result.
Then I figured maybe it's a Flash issue. I installed "Frash" (which is an Adobe Flash substitute, for jailbroken iPhones).
Here, the page loaded a bit better but.... still no sound. Also, no pause/play button (which does load properly on my Mac).

Can someone say what is the issue here, and is it possible to fix this? Getting this site to work is kind of important for this iPhone. (There is an equivalent radio app, "radio.net", but wouldn't you know.... it only runs on 7.0+!)

You need too upgrade too iPhone SE at lest if you want too listen too radio has I think it only works for IOS 7 and above

It is not necessary to have an iPhone SE to use an iOS 7+ app. Even an iPhone 4 can do it.

It sounds like you'll need a newer iPhone if you must use this app. There are other streaming radio services so perhaps you can find another that works with your 3GS.

Can either of you or someone else please explain what is the block, here? It's not an app, by the way. The website in question says nothing about requiring a certain version of a certain smartphone to work. So precisely why can't Safari, Dolphin, etc properly load this website?

Maybe it simply doesn't work on mobile browsers. Why not go into an Apple Store, or any other electronics store that has newer phones on display, and try visiting the site on one of them? At least then you would know if it has something to do with age or software limitations on your 3Gs.

Oh yeah, the site works on mobile browsers. I tried it on my LG G3, everything loads and plays fine. Not on my 3GS or my 4S, both running a version of iOS 6. However... I did figure out that I am able to get radio stations to stream on that site on the iPhones.... the problem was, some elements of the page (ie. play/pause button, search button) were not being rendered. This despite my installing "Frash", the Adobe Flash substitute for jailbroken phones. Once you know what to press... it works.

So I still don't know what is missing on iOS 6 for the page to fail to render on Safari & Dolphin.... Java perhaps.

As far as i can tell this site doesnt work on my 6S either so not sure its an age of phone issue. Something on the mobile site doesnt like iOS or vice versa. Could potentially look at the TuneIn Radio app and search for the station which is want i tend to do with various radio stations.
