Iphone 3Gs can't play VIMEO files?

Very disappointed so far. I went to VIMEO via Safari browser to view videos. Even standard definition ones won't play. Tells me to install Flash 10. I click on the download button and it says Safari can't download the file.

PLEASE someone tell me it ain't so? Frustrated in the south....

It has been well publicized for over two years that Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPhone.
