Just picked up two iPhone 3GS and the one that's mine have dead pixel on screen. That happened to me too on the 3G. I felt I'm just pretty unlucky in getting screens with dead pixels. Since I got it from AT&T, will I be able to get an exchange at the Apple Store because I'll be out of town this afternoon and it's close to an Apple Store.

I'm not sure they swap for a single dead pixel, but it's worth a shot. Sorry to hear.

It’s probably the dingbats in the AT&T video dropped!

I don’t know if they will replace the entire unit but hey it’s worth a shot. I would try an Apple store if you have one close by, they seemed to be a lot more responsive when I had problems with the original iPhone – they actually gave me two new phones on different days for dead pixels. Good Luck!

Where is it on the screen? I would imagine you would have a stronger case if it's near the middle or so.

I had a dead pixel on my 1st Gen iPhone and they swapped it out for me.
