iphone 3gs home screen disappeared no icons

i need help with my iphone 3gs i have the home screen only and status bar on top but theres no icons no apps nothing just the background the only thing i can really do is push the home button down twice to make calls anyone know how to fix this? thanks

Did you ever install OpenSSH?

Did you reboot? Sometimes it's good to reboot after installing something new.
