Hi, I have an iPod touch 2G which is an MB model and currently runs on 3.1.2.
I have recently bought an iPhone 3GS, which if I remember correctly, the salesperson upgraded to 3.1.3 and is an MC model.

I am aware that so far it is not possible to downgrade my iPhone to 3.1.2 without losing any functional abilities, but I know that there is a Saurik SHSH solution to downgrading.

I'm just wondering, if I have Cydia on my iPod touch, is it possible to use it to jailbreak my iPhone?

Thanks in advance.

Nope, nothing you can do at the moment for a stock 3.1.3 3GS thats never been JB before and thus doesnt have any shshs available.
The ipod touch has nothing to do with it.
