iPhone 3GS Mac Jailbreak Problem

    Hi,

    I tried to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS with purplera1n on my mac
    and nothing, after the process the device still lock, can't use it.

    What to do?

    After jailbreaking, did you run Ultrasn0w? Jailbreaking in and of itself won't unlock. You will need to download/run Ultrasn0w from Cydia in order to perform the unlock.

    You didn't understand:

    After the purplera1n process the device still in the "Emergency Calls"

    that means you haven't activated the phone yet. are you using a legit at&t sim?

    I bought my iPhone in France

    And I didn't get any sim with

    I know redsn0w activates a 3G did you read and see if it activates it?

    What does iTunes say when you connect the phone? If it's factory unlocked iTunes should just activate it right away.

    you might need to put a sim card in it and then connect to itunes. i'm not sure; i dont know much about factory unlocked phones
