Hi all...!

I'm having some trouble to connect the #7 connector/ribbon in my 3GS main board...

In the beginning, I found out that the Dock Connector Assembly that I ordered for a few bucks, from Hong Kong, didn't fit... Even the #4 connector didn't fit also!

But now, I found out that the tiny dock in the main board where we have to connect the #7 connector is kind of broken... Like you had a broken circle and so it's kinda loose... So, the connector won't stay fixed... It is always coming up again... This means that I won't have proper GSM signal :(

Any thoughts how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

The connector is broken on the motherboard? I think you either need a soldering iron to solder it back on or you need a new motherboard.

Ooooof.....
Thank you! :)

I was hoping for other solution different than "new mother board", and you gave it :)

So it is possible to fix it with soldering iron? cool!

(I won't do it because it is an extremely careful job. But I'll ask an electronics house to do it...)
