    Hi, im new here.

Went to bed last night and didn't plug in my iphone like I normally do, so when i woke the battery was empty.
I plugged it in again this morning and waited 10 minutes, checked it and it was asking me to plug into itunes (recovery mode).
I tried rebooting holding down power button and home button, no luck. Did the same with it plugged into itunes, also no luck.

Itunes doesn't even recognize its my iphone, it just has a summary and nothing else.

I really don't want to restore. I have all my music on my phone, that hasn't changed since last year because our hard drive died so if i restore i will have none. I also have lots of pics, apps and videos.

My phone is not jailbreaked, and Im not sure if I want to do that either.

    Please help!!:(

Could be a hardware issue but download TinyUmbrella first before you restore.

TinyUmbrella will kick your iPhone out of recovery.
