iPhone 3gs prototype

found this white iPhone 3gs at my local thrift store looks as if was never really used it has some marking on the corner of the iphone and from what i have research it seems to be prototype of the white iPhone 3gs does any one have any knowledge about this been real.

Not sure about the prototype but I kind of don't think so. But for real, so glad that phone is behind us. I had a white 3G, can't believe I used to think it was awesome...until it wasn't a la iPhone OS 4. What an ugly phone.

its seem legit to me i would just have to get more opinions

It looks to me like it is etched on there so possibly a company iPhone that was etched. I know several companies that etch an inventory number into the device. But I can't tell to be honest

I bought it though I didn't steal it.. i guess ill just keep it then. If is true

You can still buy something and be in possession of stolen property.

But! No clue what that is, honestly.

Well i bought it from an actual store is not like I bought from someone so if anything the store will be in trouble for selling stolen property + i check the imei and doesn't show as reported stolen

The 3gs was such a maligned phone. It fixed the one thing that, at the time, really needed upgrading. Speed. I guess that's always the way it goes.

Seriously though, I had a white 32gb 3GS just like that one and I still love that form factor.
