iPhone 3GS shuts down while on 3G

Since around the end of March, my iPhone 3GS has been acting up whenever on 3G. It started out by shutting down when I tried to take a photo. Now it's shutting down constantly while on 3G (possibly while searching for a network?) Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to resolve it?
