iPhone 3GS vibrating continuiously...

Anyone know why my iphone has just started vibrating non-stop after recieving a sms message earlier today.
Have tried restarting, restoring, flicking mute switch, turning vibrating on and off in settings... nothing i think of seems to work... even the gentle tap technique ...

Anyone had this issue?

My phone will vibrate for no apparent reason. I'm not getting messages, or alert notifications. Its not that frequent so no biggie.

But in the past I also had similar problem to yours. It was on a jailbroken iPhone. It disappeared when I upgraded to a new ios one day.

If its not a firmware issue, you might try taking it to someone...could be the phone itself.
