Yes or redsn0w, either will work.

Try going into pwned-DFU with redsn0w

Also a different computer sometimes helps.

You don't need TU to restore, TSS doesn't work anymore on 5+

just put phone in pwned-DFU, SHIFT-restore in itunes and restore with your custom firmware.
